Quel magnifique mariage entre le figuratif et l’impressionnisme du début du 20e siècle. Les sapins sont saisissants de réalisme malgré le peu de détail. Un vrai petit chef-d’œuvre qui représente très bien le travail de cet artiste important dans l’histoire de l’art au Québec et au Canada.
Peintre québécois d’origine russe, Oscar de Lall s’est taillé une place de choix dans le milieu de l’art en plus d’être reconnu par tous grâce à son immense talent. Il fût même reçu académicien de l’Académie Royale des Arts du Canada en 1958. Ses œuvres font parties de la collection permanente du musée des beaux-arts du Canada (Ottawa, Ontario) et figurent parmi des collections privées et publics en peu partout dans le monde.
Il est très difficile de dénicher des œuvres de cet artistes dans le marché de la revente car les collectionneurs les conservent jalousement dans leurs collections.

Quebec painter of Russian origin, Oscar Daniel de Lall has earned a privileged place in the art world and is recognized by everyone for his immense talent. He was even received academician of the Canadian Royal Academy of Arts in 1958. His works are part of the permanent collection of the National Gallery of Canada (Ottawa, Ontario) as well as of private and public collections in Canada and around the world.
It is very difficult to find works by the artists in the resale market because collectors keep them jealously in their collections.
